What To Expect

This is ARRIVAL DAY. We will greet you and assign camp spots. We will also PREPARE and serve you THREE MEALS per day.
The meals will be healthy and sufficient for an average person. If you have needs other than that-please come prepared. There will be a sufficient variety for vegetarian needs. Desserts and drinks are provided at meals. Prayers and blessings of the food will always precede eating. Elders will be served first-children last.

Activities on Thursday will depend upon who arrives on that day. Friday through Saturday will see drumming, demonstrations, sweats and special ceremonies such as the Medicine Wheel renewal. Healers may be approached as needed. Healing ceremonies must be scheduled with STAFF.

Each evening we will have a talking circle at the Sacred Fire. Everyone may speak and offer greetings introductions, information, opinion, and advice. Drumming and singing will follow until weariness or weather stops them!

The Giveaway ceremony will take place either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.
If you have gifts to honor others- please bring them to present. Size, price, age or condition mean nothing - it is the Spirit behind the gift which matters!

We ask that everyone help with cleanup and chores in the kitchen-there is NO PAID CLEANUP STAFF. Most of the work is done by volunteers. Signup sheets will be provided.

Saturday will continue with morning presentations followed by the Giveaway!

Evening brings more drumming, singing and circles.

We will have Devotional Circles in which you may honor the Creator in your own Way.

Sunday morning begins DEPARTURE DAY. The Sacred Fire closing Ceremony will take place. Some will leave early, some will stay late visiting and assisting with cleanup.

You may request healing sweats and ceremonies, PLEASE bring rocks and blankets for the lodges and Medicine Wheel.

You may demonstrate crafts and healing arts.

The children are our future. Our children are the source of our joy! Our children carry forth our teachings! Our children are humanity's most valuable asset! Come join us to recreate the circle - and in return -be spiritually renewed.
